Hennepin County Academy Notification List

NOTE:  By clicking on the green "Register" button, you can add your name to a notification list when the academy reopens. The final determination to hold the academy will depend on the status of COVID-19. Below is an overview of the program and a sample schedule.

Are you interested in learning how county roads are plowed every winter? How Hennepin County is involved in light-rail transit? What about learning how county taxes are assessed and where your tax money goes? The Hennepin County Academy will address questions like these and more.

The Hennepin County Academy has eight sessions scheduled from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at various Hennepin County facilities, including the cities of Brooklyn Center, Medina, Minneapolis, Minnetonka and Plymouth.  See a sample schedule below. The academy is free and open to the public; attendees must be at least 18 years old.
